Straight answers on ownership, bank access, security and tax time.
You do. The QuickBooks or Xero subscription stays in your name, the data stays in your account, and your assistant works inside it as a staff or accountant user. If we stop working together, you remove one login and lose nothing.
Only read-only access to statements or bank feeds, which is what reconciliation needs. Your assistant never holds cards, signing authority or the ability to move money. Payments and payroll always go out with your approval.
Every assistant signs an NDA before day one. Logins are shared through a password manager, never in chat or email, and removed the day an engagement ends. Work happens inside your own systems, so nothing is copied out.
Your assistant keeps the books tax-ready all year and prepares a year-end pack: reconciled accounts, categorised expenses, receipts filed, reports run. Your accountant files from that pack. We do not file returns or give tax advice.
No. We provide the bookkeeping assistant; you keep your accountant, and the two work together. If you do not have one, we will tell you when you have reached the point of needing one.
Yes. Catch-up bookkeeping is a common first project. We agree the period, the assistant works through it at an agreed number of hours, and you get a clean starting point before the monthly rhythm begins.
Yes. Our assistants keep books in USD, GBP, EUR, AUD, CAD and KES, handle multi-currency accounts, and are scheduled to overlap with your working day.
It gets fixed, at no cost, and the team lead reviews how it happened. Every month-end close is checked before it reaches you, which is where most errors are caught.
You receive two or three candidate profiles after the discovery call, interview the ones you like, and your assistant is working within 48 hours of your choice.

Get your Sundays back. Get books your accountant loves.
Book a free consultation. Tell us which software you use and how far behind the books are, and we will send two or three profiles of assistants who can take it on.
